Scaffolding for Victoria Point in Manchester

Project: Victoria Point Student Accommodation

Connolly Scaffolding has been commissioned to provide scaffolding for a major refurbishment project in the middle of Manchester City Centre.

Victoria Point is premium student accommodation with five blocks that are lmid way between University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

From Autumn 2017 a major programme was started that included extensive works to all windows and roof systems.

Connolly Scaffolding team is using the Plattec System scaffold, which is ideal for speed, efficiency and safety. This was an important consideration as all five blocks are occupied throughout the refurbishment programme.

A professional approach to site organisation, storage of equipment and work practices is crucial in situations such as this (we have some very good footage showing good practice and storage etc)

The project is scheduled to last 5 months in all.
