The Boatyard, Chester
This was a build in need of some very careful planning. The site presented a handful of restrictions, such as limited storage space and a very tight area for work to be carried out. Of course, in line with our company ethos, Connolly’s is only too happy to put in the time needed to make sure that the client’s needs were met ‘on time, on budget and safely’.
The site consists of 40 apartments, spread over three blocks, each with two bedrooms and enviable waterfront views. The project aims to be complete before 2016 is over, with the properties expected to be snapped up before Christmas.
The Boatyard’s scaffolding is being traditionally built using tube and fitting scaffolding, and sits on the Shropshire Union Canal – just a ten-minute walk away from the heart of Chester city centre.
